Official launch on 1st of May! After years of development Cohorts of Kargonar finally goes public on the first of May, with playability up to lvl 20 and tons of content. Make sure not to miss that date if you want to be amongst the first to enter the world of Kargonar!

Cohorts of Kargonar has sound! You can try it out like this: In the game in your account panel there's a new option named "Sound". Click the checkbox to activate it. It's an experimental feature, that's why it's switched off per default.
Further, Cohorts of Kargonar is now playable up to level 15! We're getting closer and closer to our goal of playability up to level 20 in order to dare the next step: Open Beta!

Play with your friends! is the latest great update for Cohorts of Kargonar! Now you can see other players walking around and questing. Chat and have fun together while solving riddles and fighting enemies. Check out a screenshot of the new feature here and be convinced to join the fun ;)

Two and a half months after the start of Cohorts of Kargonar's Closed Beta the game has improved a lot. A ton of bugs were fixed, content was added and usability got improved. Three players already reached the current content's "end" (one of them actually a few days after beta release), so for now we'll have to focus on that.
A friend of mine and I were part of yesterday's annual "browser games forum" in Germany. Though the actual reason was a browser game contest where we unfortunately didn't even reach the finals, we enjoyed some really good presentations on various interesting topics. Who knows, I might use some of the tips for our game.
So, what can we look forward to? I'd say you players can expect new content soon. And me, I'll look forward to Cohorts of Kargonar's Open Beta and the indie games challenge in February.

It's now almost one day of Cohorts of Kargonar Closed Beta. And I can tell you already: It is a total success. Within only one day more than 20 bugs got fixed. 15 users have been online the first day. The community feeling is great and playing Cohorts of Kargonar is a joy for everyone.
The rather weak server already gasped with today's traffic, therefore a new server within the next few days is mandatory. Further details can be found in the forum.
Together we are shaping something great. And if you want to be part of it, it's not too late, you can write an email to admin@cok-game.com and get your own personal beta key.
See you on the fields of Kargonar or in the city of Kar'Goth!

Cohorts of Kargonar's Closed Beta is about to start on the 1st of September.
The Closed Beta is a state of the game where for the first time a limited number of actual players get to test the game. The game is "feature complete" which means that no essential functionality is missing, however the content may be incomplete (which is the case with CoK, since you are not able to play up to lvl 50).
A Closed Beta tester is allowed to play the game before other players can. In turn the developer team expects from him/her to give exact and elaborate feedback whenever a bug was found or something appears broken.
If you want to participate in the Closed Beta, write an email to admin@cok-game.com and with some luck you'll get your personal beta key on the 1st of September.
We all look forward to a fun, productive and rewarding Closed Beta phase!

A students' holidays have started - mine. Finally I get to invest vast amounts of time for Cohorts of Kargonar. There is so much left to do, mainly content filling, so I got to work straightly. First off the index page (the one you're looking at) got a refurbishment which was desperately needed. The screenshot/media section is still missing, gonna do that next.
I am proud to announce the steep progress this game is making. I can't wait to see it finished!
